Did you do the absentee voting? Or willing to vote at Wednesday?
Deciding whom to vote for is a difficult problem. To simplify this, we can
consider a problem as follows.
We limit our consideration to only two parameters. The one parameter is
how much do you like (preferation) a candidate's policy. And the other
parameter is the probability of winning. Suppose that there are two
candidate A and B. If you prefer A's policy more than that of B's and A's
winning probability is higher than B's winning probability, then you would
not need to consider voting for B.
Design an algorithm that finds all candidates you really need to consider.
