Wild card로 4팀이 추가로 선발되었고, 그 중에 베이징에서 8th Place에 랭크된 북한 김책공대 Dark Horse팀이 보입니다.

이외 특기사항이라면, 일본 Tokyo site에서 일본에서 개최되는 Regional 최초로 일본팀이 자국 티켓을 지키는데 성공했습니다.
서울 site에서는 packet sniffing을 시도한 모국가 모팀이 disqualified되었고, 이후 상세한 reporting을 통해 seoul site의 위상을 드높이는 계기가 되었습니다. (혹시 내년에 ticket하나 더 받을 수 있을까요?)


우리나라 세계대회 단골손님이었던 KAIST는 서울 site와 Danang site에 출전했지만 티켓 획득에 실패했습니다.
하지만, 서울대학교 WABMR(WE ARE BUT MEN, ROCK)과 ICU 가을전어겨울코더들(Winter Coders)가 세계대회 결선에 진출합니다. ICU는 존립문제로 많이 힘든 것으로 알고 있는데 좋은 성적 거두어서 학생들의 희망(?)이 되어 주셨으면 합니다.
